How does it work?
Select the product you want to purchase and look for the “Pick Up In Store” option. Add the product to your cart and enter your zip code. Select a store that has the product in stock and complete check out.
We will send you an order confirmation email to let you know your order was received. Then you will receive a “Ready for Pickup” email confirming your order is ready for pick up at the store you selected.
To pick up your order in store, bring the Ready for Pickup email and a valid government ID to the first register and a PetSmart Associate will retrieve your order. Then we will send you a Thank You email confirming your order was picked up.
How do I know if an item is eligible for pick up?
The Pick Up In Store option will be indicated on the product page or in your Shopping Cart if the product you’ve selected is eligible for pick up.
When do I pick up my order?
Items that are in stock usually can be picked up the same or next day depending if your order was placed during store hours. Once your order is ready, we will send you a “Ready for Pick Up” email, usually within 2 hours if your order is placed during store hours. Store hours vary and are available in the Select Store option during checkout. Store hours are also available on your Ready for Pickup email.
Can someone else pick up my order?
Yes! Just select the “Someone else will pick up my order” box during the checkout process. Provide the name and email of the person who will be picking up your order and we’ll send them an email verification. For your protection, the email verification as well as a government-issued ID is required for order pickup.
Where do I go and what do I bring with me to the store?
Go to the first register and bring a government-issued ID and your “Ready for Pickup” email in print or on your mobile phone to an associate. They will retrieve your order for you.
Will my car or truck be big enough for the item?
It will depend on the type of product or quantity, always check the dimensions of the item you’re purchasing.
Can I use coupons for an order placed online for in-store pickup?
You can only use coupons that state, "Valid in store and online." These coupons can be added to your order during the checkout process. Coupons designated as "valid in-store only" cannot be applied to in-store pickup orders.
How long do I have to pick up my order?
Orders not picked up within 5 days will be returned to stock and we will issue a refund. Refunds will be made on the original form of payment only and may take 3-5 business days to appear on our statement.
How do I cancel or return my purchase?
To cancel an order placed for pickup, go to View My Order Status within your confirmation email. Once the order has been received at the store, please contact our customer service at 1-888-839-9638.
Can I pick up some items at a store and have others shipped to an address?
Yes! You will need to select a U.S. store for the items you wish to pick up. The remaining items in your cart will be shipped to your address entered during the checkout process. Not available in Canada.
